Cancellation Policy

Thanks for thinking of Kodiak Water Taxi and Transport Inc. for your transport needs in Kodiak Island and the Gulf of Alaska. We’re here to make the process smooth and straightforward.
Here’s how our booking and cancellation policy works:
Booking Confirmation & Deposit
To reserve your dates, we require a 50% non-refundable deposit. This allows us to secure crew, equipment, and logistics for your trip.
Cancellation Policy
Life happens, and we get it. If you need to cancel, we’ll do our best to reschedule for a new date that works for both of us.
Cancellation Due to Weather or Mechanical Issues:
If we need to cancel due to weather conditions or equipment issues on our end, you’ll receive a full refund of your deposit.Customer Cancellation:
If we’re unable to reschedule for a mutually agreeable date, the 50% deposit will be retained. We appreciate your understanding, as this time has been reserved specifically for your trip.
Final Payment
Final payment is due upon receipt of the final invoice. Payment may be made by ACH or check. Credit card payments are available upon request and will include a 3% convenience fee.
Contractual Agreements
For long-term contracts or special arrangements, we commit to reserving the agreed-upon dates exclusively for your project. If a contract is terminated early at the customer’s request, full payment for the originally contracted dates will be required.
